FT BUSINESS OF LUXURY

2016/2015/2013

Event Identity and Graphics

The FT Business of Luxury Summit is widely regarded as the premium thought leadership gathering for senior luxury executives, industry leaders, corporate decision makers and financiers from around the world.

Each year the branding changes in keeping with the theme of the conference. A logo was also created to keep some consistency each year whilst the main imagery changes.

2016 concept (San Francisco):

An artistic interpretation of San Francisco created in 3D to emphasis the location of the event as well as how technological revolution has changed the luxury market. For example the likes of 3D printing, automation and new online business models. A surrealistic impression of the city with odd shaped buildings creates the feeling of a modern, futuristic world but understated because of the lack of colours used.

Art Direction & concept: Eve Lee | 3D Modeling: Thomas Rigini

2015 concept (Monte Carlo):

Commisioned illustration by Jean Benoit Heron of Monte Carlo's most famous landmark, The Monte Carlo Casino.

2013 concept (Vienna):

Vienna is rich in art and history with so much of the city covered in baroque. This was also evident at the summit's palatial and grand venue: Palais Liechtenstein. The concept was to redraw a section of a frieze taken from the Palais's ceiling. A drawing of a powerful gold eagle which brought to life the richness, grandeur and luxury of this city whilst connecting it to the theme of Power, Politic and Profits.
